Everyone wants a piece of us

Anthropic. Google. Perplexity. OpenAI. Meta. X. The tech companies are fighting for our attention, our engagement, and our money. Every week there's a new model, a new feature, a new plan to upgrade to. Each one wants to be the thing I open first in the morning and last at night. The tools keep getting smarter, but the goal hasn't changed much. Keep us in the app, keep us talking, keep us paying.

I think what gets lost in all of that is the people we actually know. I don't need another product trying to be my best friend. I want places that hand us back to each other, where the time we spend shows up as conversations that mattered, not minutes someone captured.
